Job Title: Executive Chef

At FLAMING WOK, we are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring dishes are creative, appealing, and meet customer expectations
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed, and maintaining accurate records
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality customer experience
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
