Job Title: Truck Driver

Roomy Logistics is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using GPS equipment and other navigation devices.
  • Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Criminal record check.
  • Attention to detail, sitting, flexibility, judgment, and reliability.
  • Will train.
  • Permanent position, 35 hours per week, English language, and 35 hours per week.
