Overview

Brandt is on the lookout for a Field Operations Manager - Parts to oversee our operations in the Atlantic region. This pivotal role is responsible for providing guidance and support for our customer-facing parts functions, ensuring the successful execution of our strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage our customer support strategy to enhance the distinctiveness and profitability of our parts operations across branches.
  • Assist in developing succession plans for key roles within each store, fostering growth and stability.
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews with store teams to identify areas for improvement and focus.
  • Formulate and execute plans aimed at enhancing departmental performance.
  • Monitor branch visit reports to ensure clear communication of action items and accountability.
  • Promote and support the adoption of 5S and Lean methodologies as they are introduced to new locations.
  • Ensure compliance with dealer audit standards across all stores.
  • Collaborate with Division and Regional Customer Support Account managers to deliver consistent support to all branches.

Essential Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery dealership operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Customer Support Process, particularly in parts management.
  • Proficient in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Awareness of product lines, customer demographics, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong grasp of branch operations related to parts.
  • Financial literacy with an emphasis on branch general ledgers.
  • Ability to impart financial knowledge to management teams.

Required Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery dealership practices.
  • Solid understanding of the Customer Support Process, especially in parts operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with products, customers, markets, and competitors.
  • Thorough understanding of branch operations related to parts.
  • Financial acumen, particularly regarding branch general ledgers.
  • Capability to educate managers on financial principles.
