Overview

Brandt is expanding its operations and is in search of a Field Operations Manager for the Atlantic region. This pivotal role involves providing direction and assistance for Brandt Tractor's customer-oriented service support functions. The Field Operations Manager will implement our strategic business initiatives and oversee the enhancement of our branches' service teams. The primary goal of the service field team is to enhance the profitability of the service departments. As the key representative in this region, the Field Operations Manager is expected to mentor and guide the team in their customer support efforts. Effective planning, processes, and communication strategies must be developed and executed to coordinate with the Branch network, which provides direct support to our clientele. While travel is necessary, the ideal candidate can be located anywhere within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement our customer support business strategies to differentiate our parts and service operations for customers while ensuring profitability for the organization. Supervise the effective execution of these strategies through branch operations.
  • Assist branches in developing and refining succession plans for key roles.
  • Analyze branch financials and conduct monthly reviews with the team to identify focus areas.
  • Formulate strategies for enhancing performance across all departments.
  • Review and monitor branch visit evaluations to ensure clarity on action items.
  • Promote and support the adoption of 5S and Lean principles as they are introduced to new locations.
  • Ensure compliance with dealer audit standards at the branches.
  • Collaborate with Division and Regional CSA managers to deliver consistent support across stores.

Essential Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery dealership operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer support processes, particularly in service operations.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with products, customers, markets, and competitors.
  • Thorough understanding of service branch operations.
  • Financial expertise with a focus on branch general ledgers.
  • Ability to impart financial knowledge to managers.
