Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. As a Registered Nurse at The Residence, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with CNO standards and RNAO Best Practice Guidelines
  • Contribute to fluctuating patient care needs and assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as assigned
  • Administer psychiatric and non-psychiatric medications and treatments
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams and individual team members as appropriate
  • Participate in clinical discussions, team meetings, and patient/family conferences

Requirements:

  • Licensed as an RN with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing
  • BScN and CPMHN(C) preferred
  • 2+ years recent experience preferred
  • Mental Health Nursing certificate preferred
  • CPR/Basic rescuer
  • Venipuncture skills required
