About the Role
The Chief Operating and Process Control Officer will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for planning and controlling the plant's production operations.
This key role will lead high-priority and complex projects within the production department, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to support production planning and quality control.
- Design and implement a Work Management System that meets regulatory and production quality control requirements.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to improve overall department performance and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with government legislation and customer expectations regarding food safety, quality, and security.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Technology, or Food Science.
- Experience in the food processing environment, with a strong understanding of food manufacturing, planning, GMP, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English language skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Working Conditions
The standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, as an international company with continuous 24-7 operations, hours of work may vary to accommodate business needs.
Flexible hours are required, and may include evening and weekend hours from time to time.
As a dairy processor and infant formula manufacturer, CRM strives to exceed regulatory requirements for food safety, quality, hygiene, and good manufacturing practices.
