Chemical Process Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team at Kingston Process Metallurgy Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analysis and research in a laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Tests and Analysis: Conduct tests and analysis using various physical and chemical separation techniques, including spectroscopy and chromatography.
- Maintain Laboratory Equipment: Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, including laboratory apparatus and experimental chemical or petrochemical pilot plants.
- Compile Records: Compile records for analytical studies and maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results.
- Operate MS Office: Operate MS Office software, including MS Excel, to analyze and present data.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as chemical engineering technology or analytical chemistry.
- Experience: Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the field of chemical analysis or research.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will work in a laboratory setting, with regular exposure to hazardous materials and equipment. A willingness to relocate to Kingston, Ontario is required.
