Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Relief Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our tenants, maintaining the high standard of our properties, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tenant requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair plans to ensure the longevity of our properties.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of maintenance requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our tenants, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documentation of work completed and materials used.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for managing tenant move-ins and move-outs, including conducting condition inspections and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in property management, and apply this knowledge to improve our operations and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in building management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices, including maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle, with a valid driver's abstract.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working weekends and holidays, with the possibility of providing vacation coverage for our full-time Resident Building Managers. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and to be on-call during designated periods.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $20 - $23 per hour, depending on individual experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, and a retirement savings plan.
