Job Summary
We are seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support our stores in British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations. This is a dynamic role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
- Maintain inventory within the pharmacy and ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Remain current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
- Offer private consultations to patients while maintaining a patient-centered care culture.
- Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening.
Requirements
- Canadian Pharmacist license in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
- Injection certification.
- Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
- Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
- Ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
- Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
