Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Systems Engineer to join our IT Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure, ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Network Architecture and Design: Develop and implement network architectures, frameworks, and strategies to meet our network requirements.
- Network Security: Own and operate our network security infrastructure, including operations, maintenance, design, and implementation of network security technologies.
- Disaster Recovery: Ensure the quality of our disaster recovery solution, including backup and restore processes, to maintain audit compliance and protect against ransomware attacks.
- System Support: Provide backup support for our System Architect and 24/7 support for our International Markets.
- Technical Solutions: Design, develop, and assess technical solutions to address complex network issues.
- Network Integration: Ensure the integration of all aspects of network solutions.
- Documentation: Produce and manage network architectural designs and guidance, with contributions from across all engineering and support disciplines, to achieve comprehensive network implementation.
- Server and Network Device Management: Design, installation, and configuration of internal and customer-facing servers, network devices, and firewalls.
- Configuration Management: Maintain configuration management of Firewall and network devices, including testing and deployment of patches and software updates.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Compliance and Monitoring: Work with IT Security to ensure compliance with policies and monitoring of network elements.
- 7-10 years' proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Architect, Network Administrator, or similar role(s).
- 7-10 years' maintaining inventory and asset configuration documentation.
- 7-10 years' experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN, MPLS, SDWAN) and patch management.
- 7-10 years' data backup/recovery technologies.
- BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
