About the Opportunity

Wind River is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Systems Administration Expert to join our international team of IT Administrators. As a key member of our team, you will provide daily support for our global enterprise network, designing, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining routing, switching, LAN, and WAN services.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions using Cisco Routing and Switching, Palo Alto Firewall Services, and other IP and Voice services.
  • Mentor Tier 1 engineers and provide Tier 3 network, firewall, and voice infrastructure support.
  • Manage strategic projects and generate associated device configurations.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure problems, including response time issues, downed circuits, and misrouting of data/voice calls.
  • Coordinate installation of new circuits and moves of existing circuits.
  • Work in a global engineering team environment and be willing to work other than normal business hours, including project work during weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in voice/data communications.
  • College degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • CCNP or equivalent experience.
  • Senior level hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto NG Firewall Systems and Cisco Router and Switches.
  • Senior level understanding of telecommunications technologies, including Internet and MPLS.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud technology.
