Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide support for individuals with disabilities within a private family setting. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of College/CEGEP
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
  • Support clients in regular exercise routines
  • Change non-sterile dressings as needed
  • Collect specimens for medical purposes
  • Assist with feeding and meal preparation
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
Certifications Required
  • Geriatric Certificate
