Job Title: Site Superintendent, Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Wright Construction Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the construction process, including planning, execution, and completion of projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies
  • Manage and supervise a team of construction professionals, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve construction efficiency, quality, and safety
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in construction, or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Steel-toed safety boots
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Leadership for safety excellence course
  • Working at heights training
  • Construction Trade Certification
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
