Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Onboard Immigration Services. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests and procedures to patients, ensuring accurate results and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including administering treatments, maintaining patient records, and ordering supplies.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation, adhering to standardized safety practices.
  • Teach and supervise exercises to patients, promoting independence and optimal recovery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Language

English.

Work Permit

Valid Canadian work permit required.
