Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Onboard Immigration Services. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests and procedures to assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans.
  • Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in carrying out treatment programs and developing materials for patients.
  • Apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and inventory of medications.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation.
  • Teach and supervise exercises to patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Language

English.

Work Permit

Valid Canadian work permit required.
