The Senior Manager of Inventory Allocation will lead and enhance the allocation team while supporting the Club Monaco retail operations across various regions. This role is pivotal in executing strategic initiatives within the division, analyzing sales trends, identifying opportunities, and providing recommendations to mitigate risks. Reporting to the Senior Director of Merchandise Planning & Allocation, this individual will collaborate with Distribution Centers, Field leaders, Planning, Visual, and Operations teams to implement effective allocation strategies.


Key Responsibilities in Allocation & Inventory Management

  1. Develop allocation strategies that align with the sales objectives.
  2. Conduct weekly analyses and reporting to support business strategy development, sharing insights with cross-functional teams.
  3. Implement monthly initial rollouts to ensure consistent and profitable in-season replenishment.
  4. Facilitate the growth of a year-round product offering through size balancing, model stocks, and replenishment strategies.
  5. Create and maintain weekly allocation forecasts at the store level.
  6. Manage communications with the distribution center, including forecasting for outbound and inbound inventory.
  7. Collaborate with Planning & Merchandising to execute omni-channel inventory distribution strategies.
  8. Gain a comprehensive understanding of regional, district, and store performance through data analysis and partnerships.
  9. Work with Merchandising and Planning to establish store segmentation for product initiatives and testing strategies.
  10. Lead distribution meetings and participate in business reviews, product evaluations, store visits, and other relevant meetings.
  11. Partner with store operations to optimize merchandise deliveries for initial launches and replenishment.
  12. Engage with field leadership to identify product and store planning opportunities, leveraging store visits to build relationships.
  13. Foster cross-functional relationships to promote best practices and adherence to processes, encouraging teamwork.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree is required.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in allocation, with 1-2 years in a management role.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (including vlookups and pivot tables), Outlook, and Word.
  4. Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills that contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  6. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  7. Effective planning and organizational skills, with a focus on prioritizing deadlines and detail orientation.
  8. Experience with JDA or other allocation systems is required, along with familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft D365.
