Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Contract Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and tracking contracts between Ville de Laval and various suppliers and contractors.

  • Coordinate contract administration processes to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Negotiate and resolve contractor claims, providing support to project managers with commercial aspects of construction projects, and handling all contract communication.
  • Prepare comprehensive contract documents, tender documents, and oversee service and work contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction contract administration.
  • Strong understanding of tender document drafting, design-build methodologies, quality assurance procedures, and project scheduling techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal issues pertaining to the construction industry.
  • Fluency in written French is essential.
  • Valid driver's license for local travel.
