About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at Lodex Transport Ltd. as a Mechanic Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to our mechanics and tradespersons, assisting with various tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and tradespersons with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
  • Participate in surveying activities, holding stakes as required.
  • Support other workers as directed, including apprentices and tradespersons.
  • Clean machines and work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with the operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
Security and Safety

As a Mechanic Assistant, you will be required to maintain basic security clearance.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • You will work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure efficient operations.
