Job Title: Mechanic Helper

Lodex Transport Ltd. is seeking a reliable and organized Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a Mechanic Helper, you will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various tasks related to transportation and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Provide support to tradespersons and apprentices in their daily tasks.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in the operation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
  • Ensure basic security clearance is maintained at all times.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, combining sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Display flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills to contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Will train on the job to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
