Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Redwood Residence Ltd. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a home care and visiting care agency setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on promoting independence and well-being.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordinate services.
  • Document patient progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records of care provided.
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and Adult Abuse Registry check.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment

As a LPN at Redwood Residence Ltd, you will work in a dynamic home care and visiting care agency setting, providing care to patients in their homes. You will be required to relocate for this position and be willing to work variable shifts, including on-call work.
