Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

As a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst at FX INNOVATION, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and proactive investigations into potential threats that may impact our organization. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute proactive threat hunting initiatives utilizing intelligence gathered from diverse sources to reveal potential threats, internal issues, or unusual activities affecting the organization's network and data.
- Monitor and analyze activities related to threat actor groups, including their methodologies, tools, and processes within the organization's infrastructure.
- Evaluate and interpret extensive datasets from various origins, such as network and system logs, as well as security alerts, to pinpoint possible threats or irregular behaviors.
- Collaborate with teams to improve the effectiveness of existing security measures and defenses.
- Engage with stakeholders to establish rules of engagement, timelines, and expectations for threat hunting activities.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on the findings from threat assessments.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (such as computer science or computer engineering) or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT.
- At least 5 years of dedicated experience in the field of cybersecurity.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience focused on cloud security.
- Relevant certifications such as GCFA, CTIA, GCTI, CCTHP, eCTHP, CTH, THP, OSCP/OSCE, OSWE, GPEN, GCIH, GWAPT, GXPN, CEH, or CPEN are advantageous.
- Proficiency with threat hunting tools and methodologies to facilitate hunting operations (e.g., SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence platforms).
