Job Title: AI Threat Hunter

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled AI Threat Hunter to join our dynamic team at Intact Financial Corporation. As an AI Threat Hunter, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats that target our systems, data, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting activities using AI tools and techniques to detect both known and unknown cyber threats.
  • Documentation and Process Development: Develop and maintain documentation of AI threat hunting processes, procedures, and best practices to establish early warning systems that can identify and alert security teams.
  • AI Model Development: Develop and implement AI models and algorithms to detect and analyze malicious activities and behaviors.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and correlate data from various sources to identify and prioritize potential threats.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective response to identified threats.
  • Incident Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis of security alerts and incidents to identify the root cause and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Research and stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
  • Feedback and Enhancement: Provide feedback and suggestions to the AI engineers and developers to enhance the performance and functionality of the AI tools and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in threat hunting, threat intelligence, or incident response.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and Java.
  • Ai Tools and Platforms: Proficient in using various AI tools and platforms, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, and AWS SageMaker.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Artificial Intelligence Security Professional (CAISP), GIAC Forensic analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) are preferred.
  • Eligibility: No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
