Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats that target our systems, data, and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct proactive threat hunting activities using AI tools and techniques, such as anomaly detection, machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision to detect both known and unknown cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain documentation of AI threat hunting processes, procedures, and best practices to establish early warning systems that can identify and alert security teams.
- Develop and implement AI models and algorithms to detect and analyze malicious activities and behaviors.
- Analyze and correlate data from various sources, such as network logs, endpoint telemetry, threat intelligence feeds, and open-source information, to identify and prioritize potential threats.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective response to the identified threats.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of security alerts and incidents to identify the root cause and develop mitigation strategies.
- Research and stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to the AI engineers and developers to enhance the performance and functionality of the AI tools and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in threat hunting, threat intelligence, or incident response.
- Strong knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and Java.
- Proficient in using various AI tools and platforms, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn, and AWS SageMaker.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Certifications such as Certified Artificial Intelligence Security Professional (CAISP), GIAC Forensic analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) are preferred.
