Senior Commercial Underwriting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Underwriting Manager to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting commercial credit facilities, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and underwrite commercial credit facilities, ensuring compliance with company lending guidelines and procedures.
- Communicate with external and internal contacts to ensure timely and efficient transaction processing.
- Manage deal flow to meet prescribed deadlines and deliver superior customer service.
- Perform various administrative and reporting duties on a monthly basis.
- Proficient underwriting skills with a minimum 5 years commercial mortgage experience.
- Demonstrated service excellence within the field.
- Post-secondary education (diploma/degree) preferred, preferably in business or finance.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (primarily Word and Excel).
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business sense combined with sound technical knowledge of secured lending and factors affecting the commercial mortgage market.
- Established organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
