Senior Commercial Underwriting Manager

The Senior Commercial Underwriting Manager will play a critical role in analyzing and underwriting commercial credit facilities, ensuring compliance with established lending guidelines and procedures. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and underwrite commercial credit facilities, including construction and conventional loans, with a focus on ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders, including origination partners, funders, managers, and commercial mortgage sales staff, to ensure timely and efficient transaction processing.
- Manage deal flow and prioritize tasks to meet prescribed deadlines.
- Perform various administrative and reporting duties, including data analysis and reporting, to support the department and company.
- Proficient underwriting skills, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of commercial mortgage experience.
- Demonstrated service excellence and strong business acumen.
- Post-secondary education, preferably in business or finance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and make sound underwriting decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
