Director of Security Compliance and Risk Management

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Security Compliance and Risk Management to join our team at Bluebayinvest. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving security compliance and mitigating operational risks related to SWIFT within our company.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Enterprise-Wide Execution of SWIFT CSP Assessments: Ensure alignment with SWIFT CSP standards and regulatory expectations for 40+ BICs (Bank Identifier Codes).
- Provide Strategic Direction and Governance: Improve compliance with SWIFT CSP standards and develop processes for assessment requests and reviews related to counterparties.
- Drive Methods to Automate and Confirm Control Compliance: Oversee alignment with the Enterprise Risk and Internal Controls repository (ERIC) and enterprise control testing, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined assessment process.
- Expand Coverage of Advisory Controls: Ensure alignment with best practice guidelines and governance standards.
- Develop and Manage Risk Reduction and Remediation Portfolio: Focus on SWIFT-related security risks and monitor identified risks, improvement opportunities, and drive action plans for effective remediation.
- Provide Guidance on Emerging Regulatory Requirements: Keep the organization informed and prepared on emerging regulatory requirements, standards, and industry trends.
- Promote and Implement Best Practices: Ensure continuous improvement of SWIFT security guidelines.
- Engage and Manage Communication: Ensure clarity of objectives, risks, and progress with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and Deliver High-Quality Presentations and Reports: Focus on risk mitigation plans, compliance updates, assessment status, and findings.
- Manage Preparation of Governance Documentation: Ensure engagement and alignment.
- Provide Leadership and Direction: Promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the SWIFT CSP team.
- Collaborate with Internal Departments and Stakeholders: Align security strategies and operational improvements, ensuring cross-functional engagement.
- Leadership Experience: Manage teams, program governance, and drive security programs at scale.
- Strong Familiarity with SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework: Hands-on experience with CSP assessment and compliance.
- Payments and Financial Services Experience: Particularly with international standards and regulations.
