Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Technologist/Manager and under the guidance of a Radiologist, you will perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures.

Assist Radiologists during imaging procedures, input patient-specific information into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS, and provide mentorship to student technologists and staff trainees.


Compensation:
The new wage is: $50.94/hour

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program and successful completion of a recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging program. A minimum of two years of recent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligibility for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.

Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage workload, set goals, and prioritize tasks. Effectively manages time and resources, promotes teamwork among interdisciplinary staff, and collaborates across various disciplines.

Leadership Qualities: Encourages staff morale, engagement, and empowerment. Demonstrates innovative planning for change, implementation of organizational policies, and ongoing professional development for self and others.

Team Collaboration: Proven ability to foster teamwork and a commitment to excellence in client care delivery.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated skills in data analysis, including the use of appropriate reporting tools. Proficient in email and word processing software, with the ability to operate other relevant equipment as necessary in the specific practice area.
