Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Client Services Manager – Rehabilitation Services, the Speech-Language Pathologist will function autonomously as a vital member of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The role involves engaging in the design, implementation, and assessment of rehabilitation services, adopting a client-focused and goal-oriented methodology for both pediatric and adult populations.

Professional Experience

  • Prior experience in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.

Educational Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba.
  • Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in assessing, identifying, and treating clients across various age groups and with diverse conditions.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Must maintain good physical and mental health, capable of sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods.
  • Able to perform under stress and within time constraints.
