Job Summary:

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and education to children and adults with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing goals
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and email
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French)

Working Conditions:

  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license and liability insurance
