About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Hi Tech Diesel Garage Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including automotive and truck-trailer systems.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service on our fleet of trucks to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and a team player.
