Quality Specialist Role

Smartrend Manufacturing Group is seeking a skilled Quality Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electronic inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements
  • Develop and maintain calibration systems and procedures
  • Conduct PPAP sample packages and assess quality-related issues
Requirements
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and part drawings
  • Knowledge of Geometric Tolerance and Dimensions (GDT) is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
