Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Communication: Prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for chef, and maintain open communication with staff and management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and physically demanding.
