Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stocking of food and beverages.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus and specials that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a team environment with a diverse group of staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
