Job Summary

The Rail and Transit Discipline Lead is a senior-level position responsible for providing leadership and expertise in rail and multi-modal transit engineering disciplines. The incumbent will oversee and guide a team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects related to rail and transit infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership to the rail and transit discipline team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of rail and transit projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in rail and transit engineering, staying abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other discipline leaders and departments to ensure seamless integration of rail and transit components within larger projects.
  • Ensure projects adhere to all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards in the rail and transit sector.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (15 years) in rail and transit engineering.
  • Proven track record in project management and team leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-modal transportation design standards and regulations.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.
