Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical radiographic duties, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic medical radiographic duties, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved medical radiation technologist program.
  • Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • One (1) year general radiography experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
