Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team at Johnson Controls. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic components and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electronic components and systems according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Completion of a college degree or diploma in a related field, such as electronics or electrical engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in electrical assembly and testing, preferably in a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

  • Commercial/Industrial environment with exposure to electrical systems and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity required to use necessary tools and equipment.
  • Exercise caution when working with electrical systems and equipment.
  • Long periods of standing and walking may be required.
