Electronics Assembly Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to construct electronic assemblies accurately.
- Suggest improvements or replacements for electronic devices and carry out repairs or component replacements as necessary.
- Calibrate and maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct circuit testing and troubleshooting as required.
- Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and standards to all tasks.
- Uphold product quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Adhere to safety protocols as outlined by Johnson Controls and relevant occupational health regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of a diploma or degree in a technical field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of both power and hand tools.
- Familiarity with RF, high voltage, analog, and digital systems.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of transformers, relays, magnetic contactors, and motor protection devices is advantageous.
- Understanding of PLC systems is a plus.
Work Environment
- Work is conducted in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Manual dexterity is essential for tool operation.
- Caution is necessary due to potential hazards in the work environment.
- Compliance with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment, is mandatory.
- The role may require prolonged periods of standing.
- Overtime may be necessary based on workload.
Communication
- Interaction is primarily with team members and the Electrical Assembly Supervisor or Manager.
