Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive case management plans for employees with work-related injuries or illnesses.
  • Provide expertise on disability management, consulting with employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, collective agreements, and District policies.
  • Coordinate claims management and rehabilitation services with external partners.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and report incidents to WorksafeBC.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and external contacts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote health, safety, and wellness initiatives.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in disability management. Advanced knowledge of case management principles, relevant legislation, and best practices is required.

A personal vehicle and valid BC Driver's License are necessary for this role.
