Hybrid Position Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer to join our team at Alithya. As a hybrid position, you will be responsible for application analysis, design, and development across multiple client-server or web-based platforms.

  • Collaborate with business units to review business requirements and feasibility from a technical perspective.
  • Develop and maintain database scripts, with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Work on moving existing analytics platforms to Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Perform code reviews and unit testing to ensure high-quality code.
  • Comply with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
  • Contribute to the construction of requirements, design, testing, and deployment documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • Databricks experience, particularly with the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spark, Scala, Spring, SQL Server, Git, and React.
  • Experience with cloud computing applications using Scala or Java.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies, including HDFS, Spark, and Cassandra.
Preferred Skills
  • Cloud migration experience.
  • Angular and Spring Boot expertise.
Language Skills
  • English: Proficient.
