Position Overview: We are currently seeking an Accounting and Tax Manager who possesses a deep understanding of intricate accounting and tax principles. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital technical resource for both our clients and our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing tax returns for corporations, individuals, trusts, and charities.
- Conducting tax planning and preparing estimates.
- Leading special projects, including retirement planning, incorporation, corporate restructuring, business valuation, tax elections, and essential software updates.
- Facilitating year-end tax meetings for corporate and personal clients.
- Supervising and mentoring accounting staff, including performance evaluations and CPA program guidance.
- Researching complex accounting issues and providing technical support to clients and the firm.
Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a Private Enterprise Group of a Big 4 firm or those who have worked in a small to mid-sized CPA firm with a focus on private clients.
Skills Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work full-time (Monday to Friday) on-site.
