Occupational Therapist Opportunity at Lifemark

Lifemark is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at our Kentville clinic. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to clients on topics such as safe body mechanics and cognitive behavioral strategies
  • Support return-to-work programs and collaborate with the inter-professional team
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
