Job Title: Associate Chief Medical Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled medical leader to join our team as an Associate Chief Medical Officer. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for Strategic Clinical Networks
  • Collaborate with senior physician leaders to advance the SCN portfolio
  • Provide expert advice to AHS operational leaders and key stakeholders
  • Engage with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure meaningful participation in SCN development
  • Manage change and create innovative solutions for complex issues

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Alberta
  • At least 5 years' leadership experience in healthcare operations
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication
  • Ability to foster partnerships and achieve organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful record of achievement as a medical leader
  • Experience in academic medicine and developing best clinical practices
  • Canadian Certified Physician Executive (CCPE) credential
