Position Overview

The HVAC Mechanic Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the heating and air conditioning operations at A1 Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. This position involves assisting skilled tradespersons in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal education, certificate, or diploma is required.
Work Environment
  • Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer.
  • Candidates must be open to relocating as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in moving tools, equipment, and materials to various job sites.
  • Support surveying activities by holding stakes and marking locations.
  • Communicate safety protocols to coworkers and the public.
  • Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other team members as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
Safety and Security
  • Basic security clearance is required.
