Job Title: Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team at JUNNIR MECHANIC REPAIR SHOP.

Job Description:

The Mechanic Helper will assist our mechanics in performing various tasks, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.

Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by the team lead.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The job requires physical demands, including manual dexterity, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ideal candidate will possess dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Experience:
  • Will train the successful candidate to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the job requirements.
  • The position is permanent, with a 40-hour workweek and English as the primary language of communication.
