Job Title: Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team at JUNNIR MECHANIC REPAIR SHOP.

Job Description:

The Mechanic Helper will assist our mechanics in various tasks, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.

Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Assist in surveying activities by holding stakes.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The job is physically demanding and requires manual dexterity.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling are required.
  • Handling heavy loads is a part of the job.
  • A large workload is expected.
Weight Handling:
  • The Mechanic Helper will be required to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Personal Suitability:
  • The ideal candidate will be dependable, efficient in interpersonal skills, flexible, and have initiative.
  • They will be organized, reliable, and a team player.
Experience:
  • Will train the successful candidate.
  • The job is permanent.
  • The working language is English.
  • The working hours are 40 hours per week.
