Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Big Freight Systems Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and communication.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight limits.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Valid AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Basic security clearance and valid passport.
