Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Foxriver Logistics is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is safe and compliant with regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Flexibility, judgement, and reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a long haul truck driver
  • Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and other communication equipment
