About the Role

Shivanie k Hansreny is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Errands and Shopping: Accompany clients on errands and shop for groceries and household supplies, ensuring their needs are met.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Provide basic first aid and respond to emergencies, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and move with ease
