About the Role

Gurjit Singh Gill is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments and errands, using public transportation or other means as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and crouching.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
