Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor involves overseeing daily operations within a dining establishment, ensuring that all food service activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in food service supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Order necessary food and kitchen supplies to maintain operational flow.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure that all food and service offerings meet established quality control standards.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef to facilitate meal preparation.
  • Possess knowledge of the culinary genres specific to the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of trays and ensure proper delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
